Solar Street Light Operating Mode
The 9th-generation solar street light offers two main working modes to cater to different scenarios: the mode with motion sensor and the mode without motion sensor.
Solar Street Light Motion Sensor Mode
This mode is designed to maximize energy efficiency. When people are present within the detection range, the light operates at 100% power, delivering bright illumination. When there are no people detected, the light can either dim down to 20% power or turn off completely, depending on the settings. This intelligent adjustment helps save a significant amount of energy, thereby extending the working hours of the light, especially in areas with intermittent human activity.
In this mode, the solar street light automatically turns on after dark and maintains a fixed power output throughout the night. Unlike the motion sensor mode, its brightness does not change based on the presence or absence of people, providing a stable and consistent lighting level. This mode is suitable for areas that require continuous and uniform lighting, such as main roads or public squares with constant traffic.
Intelligent Remote Control
The solar street light is equipped with an intelligent remote control, which allows for easy operation and setting of various functions.
Examination before Installation
Before installing the light, it is essential to conduct a simple test. Press the "ON" button to attempt to turn on the light. To simulate the dark environment required for the light to work, test it in a dark room or use an object to cover the solar panel. If the light turns on, it is ready for installation. However, if the lamp does not light up, it may be due to the battery being depleted during long sea shipping. In such cases, place the light under strong sunlight to charge for 3-4 hours and then test it again in a dark room.
Remote Controller Detection
The effective range of the remote controller is less than 6 meters. It is important to choose the right working mode that suits your specific needs. The settings have a memory function, meaning you only need to set them up once. The remote control offers a variety of functions, including turning the light on and off, adjusting the dimming level (dimming up and dimming down), selecting the motion sensing mode (where the light dims down when no people are detected), setting the light to always be on (and turn off at dawn), and disabling the motion sensor. Additionally, there are options to set the light to be steady on for 3 hours, 5 hours, or 8 hours, after which it will enter the motion sensor mode.
Mounting and Adjustment
To mount the lamp, first, ensure that the pole diameter is less than 60mm. Insert the solar light into the lamp post and fix it securely using rotating screws. After mounting, adjust the bracket angle to position the solar panel upwards, facing the direction that receives the best sunshine. This adjustment is crucial for maximizing the charging efficiency of the solar panel. A well-positioned solar panel will absorb more sunlight, ensuring the battery is fully charged and the light operates optimally.
