Working mode of the body sensor of the solar street light:
1.Light sensing + human motion detection: The streetlight distinguishes between daytime and nighttime via the light sensor. Once the ambient light intensity drops to a specific level, the streetlight will turn on automatically. Meanwhile, upon detecting someone passing by, it will automatically boost its brightness.
2.Timed detection + human motion detection: In the absence of human activity, the streetlight stays at a low brightness. The moment a person walks by, it brightens up and maintains that brightness for a while (for instance, several minutes). It only reverts to the low-brightness mode automatically when the occupancy sensor no longer detects the person.
The occupancy sensor in solar streetlights utilizes passive infrared technology to detect changes in the human body's thermal radiation. When human activity is sensed, the control system adjusts the streetlight's brightness automatically. This ensures adequate illumination while conserving energy, significantly enhancing the efficiency, eco-friendliness, and safety of solar streetlights. They are particularly suitable for locations with demands for energy conservation and low maintenance costs, including streets, parks, parking lots, and villages.
