1. Choose LED lighting fixtures with lumens/watt height
Luminous flux, which is the total amount of visible light emitted by a light source per unit of time, in lumens (Lm). Luminous efficiency, i.e., the amount of light energy emitted per watt of electrical power produced by a light source (commonly known as luminous flux), unit: lumens per watt (Lm/w)
The comprehensive luminous effect of LED lighting fixtures refers to the luminous efficiency of a finished LED street lamp. Under the rated voltage, the total luminous flux emitted by the LED lamp is divided by the total power consumption of the LED lamp, that is, the comprehensive luminous efficiency of the LED lamp, expressed in lumens/watt, the higher the value, the better the energy-saving effect of the lamp, the more power saving. Under the same power, the lamps with high luminous efficiency and large luminous flux are brighter and more energy-saving! A 3W LED bulb is taller than an 18W energy-saving lamp. And the ratio is about 8 times that of a 40W incandescent lamp.
2. Choose products with high color rendering index
Color rendering refers to the degree to which the color of an object is close to the true color when illuminated by light. The higher the Ra value of the color rendering index, the closer the color of the object will be to the true color. It is generally believed that 80~100, excellent color rendering; 50~79, general color rendering: <50, poor color rendering. LED lighting fixtures with a high color rendering index should be selected.
3. the choice of color temperature of the light source depends on personal preference
The unit of color temperature is Kelvin (K), the color temperature of the red light source is about 800K~900K, the color temperature of the yellow-white light source is about 3000K, the color temperature of the white light source is about 5500K, and the color temperature of the light blue light source is 8000K~12000K. The choice of color temperature of the light source depends on the preferences of each person, some people like warm colors, then the lamp with a color temperature of about 3000K is suitable for him, and the lamp with a color temperature of 5000K ~ 6500K can meet the requirements of people who like daylight color, and the LED lighting fixtures that like cool colors are 8000K ~ 12000K.
4.the smaller the light attenuation, the better, and the greater the light flux, the better
Light decay: the process of gradual attenuation of the luminous flux of the light source until exhaustion, that is, the process of gradual attenuation of the brightness of a lamp after a period of use.
Luminous flux maintenance rate: the lamp is lit under specified conditions, and the luminous flux measured after 100 hours of the lamp's ignition point is the initial value, and the ratio of the luminous flux measured after 2000 hours of re-ignition is expressed as a percentage (not less than 80%), which is used as a lighting concept to measure light decay.
The popular explanation is that after the lamp is used for a period of time, the brightness will decrease. For different light sources, the higher the luminous flux maintenance rate in the same specified time, the smaller the light attenuation of the light source.
Solar street light installation misunderstandings:
1. Install it in a place with a lot of obstructions.
Solar street lights work on the principle that the panels absorb the sun during the day and are present in the battery. At night, the battery converts sunlight into electricity to power street lights. If the street light is obscured by many trees or buildings, it will not absorb sunlight, so the light will not be on.
2. Install near other light sources.
Solar street lights have their own control system that can recognize dawn and darkness. If other power sources are installed next to the solar street lights, when the other power sources are on, the solar street light system will think that it is daytime and will not light up at this time.
3. The solar panel is installed under other shelters.
Solar panels consist of multiple strings of panels. If one of the strings of solar panels cannot be exposed to sunlight for a long time, then this set of batteries is equivalent to useless.
4. Install lamps on both sides of the highway with the solar panels tilted face to face.
The correct installation method should be that the solar panels are facing the same side and that the solar panels on both sides can absorb sunlight.
5. Solar street lights charge indoors.
If you want to install solar street lights indoors, you can install solar panels and lights separately, so that the panels are charged outdoors and the lights are illuminated indoors. Of course, if we are lighting indoors, we can also choose other lighting.
